What type of under tank heater for an acrylic tank?
I built my leopard gecko a new tank from clear acrylic and I’m not sure what type of under tank heater I should get for it now. I don’t want the heater to get to hot and melt the plastic. Does anyone know if there are any brands that make under tank heaters that are safe to use on acrylic tanks??

Go to walmart/ wal greens and get a human heating pad that does NOT turn off on its own.Get one that lets you adjust the heat. Human heating pads are much safer and we use them for all of our tanks. Put it underneath the tank, not inside.
